Description

Design and develop electromechanical systems from ideation through industrialization. Own the full NPI/NPD process, managing component lifecycles and engineering changes within Windchill PDM/PLM.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings using Creo CAD.
• Manage component lifecycles, ECO/ECR, and EBOM creation within Windchill PDM/PLM.
• Execute the full NPI/NPD process from initial idea to final industrialization.
• Conduct component and subsystem level verification and experimental testing.
• Develop DFMEA to identify product risks and create functional requirement documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD, including sheet metal, surface modeling, and assembly.
• Hands-on experience with Windchill PDM/PLM.
• Expertise in designing for manufacturing (DFM/DFA) across sheet metal, machining, Al die casting, injection molding, and extrusion.
• Experience designing sheet metal parts and structural components.
• Knowledge of material selection and manufacturing processes such as fabrication and extrusion.
• Ability to present technical ideas to stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in product development following IEC standards.
