Description

You will own the end-to-end mechanical design process for complex sub-systems and components within the semiconductor equipment industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail components using metals, plastics, and ceramics according to industry standards.
• Execute full product lifecycles from requirement analysis and concept design to prototyping, testing, and final release.
• Manage BOM, configuration, and engineering change management throughout the product life cycle.
• Perform hand calculations and FEA analysis for structures, frames, and modules.
• Prepare technical documentation, including manuals, reports, and maintenance sheets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools including CREO, SOLIDEDGE, or CATIA.
• Experience designing machined parts, sheet metal, weldments, and plastic parts.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
• Experience with PLM tools and change management processes.
• Proven ability to perform engineering analysis (FEA and calculations) with limited supervision.
• Background in the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Experience managing complex 2D drawings and 3D assemblies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vacuum technology, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of mechatronics, system integration, and semiconductor safety standards.
