Description

You will design and manage complex mechanical assemblies and production documentation within a PLM environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create parametric parts, drawings, and large assemblies using SolidWorks features including weldments, sheet-metal, and surfacing.
• Optimize large-scale assemblies using Large Design Review, SpeedPak, and performance profiling to ensure stability.
• Manage ECR/ECO/ECN workflows, EBOM/MBOM structures, and revision control within Teamcenter.
• Execute tolerance stack-ups and apply ASME Y14-series GD&T to production drawings.
• Incorporate DFM/DFA practices and resolve build issues alongside production, test, and quality teams.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Advanced SolidWorks proficiency in parts, drawings, large assemblies, sheet-metal, and weldments.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter, specifically item/master creation and EBOM/MBOM management.
• Expertise in optimizing large assemblies using Lightweight, SpeedPak, and simplified geometry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and sheet-metal.
• Deep understanding of ASME drawing standards and GD&T.
• Ability to manage ECR/ECO/ECN workflows and release-to-manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills

• SolidWorks Certification.
