Description

You will develop complex component engineering drawings and CAD models under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed part CAD models and product structures within PDM systems.
• Construct check layouts and assembly drawings for various components and sub-assemblies.
• Develop engineering drawings using industry standards, codes, and equipment specifications.
• Check drawings from other design personnel for completeness and accuracy.
• Incorporate reliability, HSE, and Quality analysis techniques into the design process.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for component and assembly design.
• Experience with product design and creating complex CAD models.
• 6+ years of related drafting experience.
• Working knowledge of machining, materials, and inspection techniques.
• Understanding of tolerance requirements for equipment functionality.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Understanding of how drafting quality impacts design documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
