Description

You will design and optimize mechanical hardware for complex infusion devices. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize pumping mechanisms and fluid paths.
• Develop loading interfaces ensuring error-proof operation.
• Implement safety features including anti-flowback and occlusion protection.
• Guide integration of sensing and feedback systems into mechanical assemblies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in complex hardware development.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of medical-grade materials and fluid interfaces.
• Familiarity with sensor integration and design for high-volume manufacturing.
• Application of FEA, FMEA, and risk-based design practices.
• Compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 60601 standards.
