Description

You will manage maintenance and continuous product improvement for assigned torque converter families.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and continuous product improvement tasks, including drawing and model updates.
• Collaborate with suppliers, assembly, test, platform engineering, and product support teams.
• Engage in technical discussions with stakeholders and clients to resolve design issues.
• Use analysis and testing to solve complex mechanical problems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in a related engineering field.
• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
• Proven hardware design experience.
• Proficiency in Creo modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Mechanical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in powertrain design, development, or product support.
• Knowledge of drivetrain performance, oil system functions, and sleeve/roller bearing selection.
• Familiarity with FMEA-based validation, NPI, and CPI processes.
