Description

You will manage the testing, design, and process improvement of electro-mechanical switches in Freeport, IL.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for testing electro-mechanical switches and develop test procedures.
• Create or update LabVIEW programs for testing and qualification.
• Create and update CAD drawings for design specifications.
• Review and update quality improvement plans for manufacturing processes.
• Update inspection-related instructions to align with current processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW.
• Knowledge of electromechanics.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Strong analytical skills, including query writing.
• Ability to provide indirect leadership to diverse teams deploying complex processes.
