Description

You will design, install, and optimize manufacturing equipment and processes to maximize throughput and reliability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop equipment, fixturing, tooling, automation, and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing machines alongside maintenance technicians to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Analyze equipment downtime and process capabilities to identify improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop machine specifications, setup instructions, and work instructions to meet quality and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineering, Production Control, and Quality Engineering during pre-production trials and equipment buy-off.

Required Skills

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent graduate education.
• 5+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Hands-on maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of material processing, tooling, and part fabrication.
• Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and process analysis.
• Experience with Production Control and Quality Engineering.
• Ability to analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
