Description

Design mechanical, hydraulic, and robotic component systems for downhole well equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage component-level mechanical assemblies and tool concepts.
• Perform concept design, feasibility evaluations, and analyses for advanced downhole applications.
• Conduct CFD and FEA to evaluate components under extreme conditions.
• Execute failure analysis and implement root cause solutions.
• Prepare engineering and design estimates for new product development.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience with 3D CAD using Creo or Solidworks.
• Experience designing precision components with specific material properties for extreme environments.
• Proficiency in CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics).
• Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
• Direct experience with mechanical, hydraulic, or robotic component systems.
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
