Description

You will design and develop mechanical components for industrial and manufacturing applications, owning the full lifecycle from concept to certification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components independently, prioritizing manufacturability, assembly, and reliability.
• Develop electronics enclosures, selecting connectors, PCB assemblies, and joining methods.
• Execute design verification and prototyping while adhering to environmental test and regulatory certification standards.
• Manage product development through various manufacturing methodologies and mold design processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, software, and PCB layout engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of onsite mechanical engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD tools.
• Extensive experience working with offshore teams from an onsite location.
• Deep understanding of electronics enclosure design and component selection.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies, prototyping, and design verification.
• Experience with VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) and mold design.
• Familiarity with sensor integration and piping requirements.
• Proven track record working on projects for manufacturing or industrial companies.

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
