Description

You will design, develop, and support mechanical products, components, and sub-systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate new design concepts, prototypes, and mechanical sub-assemblies to meet application requirements.
• Perform thermal and stress analysis, FEA, and FMEA to validate designs.
• Manage the engineering change process and configuration management, including Bill of Materials and change requests.
• Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new or modified designs using in-house prototypes.
• Develop resolutions for critical design issues involving low vacuum, high temperature, and flow architecture.

Required Skills

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of progressive experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Design Specialist, or in a related mechanical engineering role.
• 1 year of hands-on experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Experience with ANSYS and MacroFlow.
• Ability to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and technical product documentation.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to various locations throughout the U.S. as required.
