Description

You will design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components for medical device temperature management products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mechanical aspects of electro-mechanical systems and dedicated consumables.
• Develop CAD models, theoretical models, and prototypes to demonstrate design feasibility.
• Perform engineering analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve design issues.
• Manage configuration tasks including Engineering Change Orders, Bill of Materials, and drawing updates.
• Execute component testing, documentation, and vendor coordination for component procurement.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in an engineering field.
• Engineering degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with Electro-Mechanical Design and Electromechanics.
• Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Ansys Products.
• Ability to perform geometric dimensioning and tolerance analysis (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Competency in data analysis using Minitab, Excel, and MATLAB.
• Ability to triage design concepts and drive solutions to completion.
• Skill in identifying technical risks and communicating findings to project managers.
• Capacity to work independently and manage personal workload to meet project objectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated industries.
