Description

You will support Installed Base engineering for Computed Tomography (CT) systems by investigating field, factory, and supplier issues to minimize downtime.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate part failures, assembly issues, component-level problems, and part obsolescence.
• Assess and respond to Supplier Change Requests (SCRs) to maintain operational continuity.
• Prepare, present, and own Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) following established work instructions.
• Lead mechanical component prototype development, execute performance testing, and generate design documentation.
• Manage projects through feasibility analysis, resource prioritization, and cost-benefit evaluation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in Creo and Windchill.
• Experience with Ansys and MyWorkshop.
• Strong knowledge of product structuring and standard drafting practices.
• Experience managing ECR and SCR processes.
• Hands-on expertise in prototype development.
• Knowledge of mechanical fabrication technologies.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering design constraints and electronic packaging.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to ensure designs meet global material compliance and ESG initiatives.
