Description

You will design structural and mechanical components for overhead cranes and runway systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress calculations for structural and mechanical components of overhead cranes and runway systems.
• Generate 2D and 3D design drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and bills of materials using AutoCAD.
• Review customer drawings and specifications to ensure alignment with equipment and system engineering designs.
• Collaborate with project team members during the engineering stages of material handling projects.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in design engineering and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D and 3D design and detailing.
• Experience with 3D design workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Eligibility to work in the US without non-competition agreements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing and structural steel fabrication.
