Description

You will manage mechanical product design from initial concept through to production release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive design processes from concept through to full production release.
• Perform mechanical fit checks and First Article Inspection (FAI) reviews for prototype and hard-tooled parts.
• Create engineering drawings following established standards and mechanical principles.
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in a concurrent development environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical product engineering.
• Deep understanding of basic mechanical principles and engineering applications.
• Experience with sheet metal and/or plastics technology.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes for mechanical parts.
• Proficiency managing BOM, Assembly Drawings, Deviations, and ECOs.
• Competency in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using flow chart programs for process mapping.
