Description

You will manage the full project lifecycle for mechanical systems, from concept and design through procurement, installation, and commissioning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects ranging from $10K to $5M, developing schedules and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the execution phase.
• Provide mechanical engineering support to production and maintenance teams, troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Support the design, fabrication, and installation of mechanical equipment, with a focus on thermal and combustion systems.
• Participate in the plant's 5-year capital planning process, developing scopes, cost estimates, and vendor selection documentation.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing or project engineering experience.
• Minimum 1+ year of Thermal/Combustion Engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Ability to manage contractor safety documentation and lead safety meetings.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available).

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of manufacturing or project engineering experience.
• 2+ years of Thermal/Combustion Engineering experience.
• Experience with furnaces, heat systems, or combustion equipment.
