You will manage the mechanical and systems technical scope for new packaged rotating equipment used in onshore and offshore projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical scope for gas turbine-compressors, electric motor-driven compressor trains, and extended plant scope including coolers and scrubbers.
- Troubleshoot compressor and process system designs and integrate them with electrical, controls, lube oil, fuel gas, and seal gas systems.
- Develop contract P&IDs and instrumentation wiring diagrams using COMOS.
- Perform technical calculations for component sizing and fluid flow analysis.
- Support production via work instructions and redlining drawings, while managing engineering schedules, bills of material, and documentation.
- Provide technical and field service support through warranty periods and handover to service.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering industry experience.
- Direct experience with rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and convert client specifications into manufacturing and purchase specifications.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter, NX, E3, COMOS, or Jira.
- Experience using SAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- B.E. in an engineering-related field.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Skills
- Mechanical Engineering degree or M.S. degree.
- Knowledge of API614, API692, and API617.
