Description

You will maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical systems to ensure manufacturing equipment reliability and safety.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Manage installation and debugging activities to meet milestone and timeline objectives for successful capacity adds.
• Design and implement mechanical solutions and process changes to improve manufacturing equipment capability.
• Diagnose complex mechanical failures, align systems, and calibrate equipment after installation using blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain spare part identification, storeroom entries, and engineering documentation while supporting operations training.

Required Skills

• 3+ years’ experience in new equipment installations in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gear systems, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Experience with data analysis to solve mechanical and process issues.
• Proficiency with PC software including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and using CMMS.

Preferred Skills

• Start-up experience in a manufacturing environment.
