Description

You will perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery (e.g., pumps, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Design and implement mechanical solutions and process changes to improve manufacturing equipment capability.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to support repair and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and training to operators, techs, and the engineering team.
• Participate in daily scrap and cost reduction activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience completing equipment installations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, gear systems, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to solve mechanical and process issues using data analysis and expert collaboration.
• Maintain safe work practices and report hazardous conditions.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with equipment installation and calibration after setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA, Welding, Millwright, or HVAC.
