Description

You will manage the installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical equipment and process systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute equipment set-up and debugging from initial installation through turnover to operations.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting to replace defective components or direct trades to resolve process issues.
• Re-design mechanical components to resolve interference, correct inadequate designs, and reduce installation costs.
• Analyze and correct installation practices to improve efficiency and adherence to project timelines.
• Create, review, and redline installation documentation, including drawings, checklists, and machine specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical technical roles.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, instruments, and measurement or alignment devices.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical drive trains, electrical actuators, and pneumatic actuators.
• Proficiency interpreting drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with process piping system design.
• Knowledge of process variables including flow, temperature, rate, pressure, and level.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• AAS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or BS in Mechanical Engineering.
