Description

You will provide onsite mechanical and utility engineering support for a large-scale expansion project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite mechanical and utility construction for capital projects to ensure compliance with design and facility standards.
• Oversee field observations and the commissioning of equipment and utilities by third-party services.
• Perform field reviews of construction progress, equipment startup, and system commissioning.
• Review and evaluate contractor feasibility studies and cost estimates for existing and new factory sites.
• Coordinate with the corporate engineering team regarding project structure, scopes, design, and reviews.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical or utility design.
• Experience with HVACR, liquid handling systems (tanks, pumps, piping), and heat transfer systems.
• Proficiency with steam, chilled water, natural gas, and industrial waste systems.
• Expertise in generating, reviewing, and field tracing P&IDs.
• Proven experience with multi-million dollar construction, startup, and commissioning projects.
• Background in Food & Beverage, CPG, or industrial manufacturing capex projects.
• Ability to review 2D drawings, 3D models, and equipment submittals.
• Experience in process flow development and equipment sizing.
• Knowledge of structure, scopes, design, and AutoCAD.

Preferred Skills

• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Experience with projects requiring hygienic food manufacturing.
