Description

You will split your time equally between mechanical validation and fixture design for consumer wearable products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute mechanical validation tests throughout the product development phase.
• Convert mechanical requirements and specifications into actionable test cases and standard operating procedures.
• Design mechanical and electromechanical fixtures for internal system validation.
• Procure, assemble, and validate test setups and custom fixtures.
• Conduct detailed design work including 3D modeling, technical drawings, and design reviews.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles.
• Experience performing and executing gage R&R.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and technical drawing.
• Ability to write technical reports and present findings in technical reviews.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or JMP.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
