Description

You will design, validate, and optimize mechatronic and electromechanical systems for industrial products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Update system infrastructure and embedded software using Matlab/Simulink.
• Research, review, and validate technical specifications for subsystems including engine controls, pneumatics, powertrain, and telematics.
• Author systems-level requirements and perform root cause or failure mode analysis to troubleshoot defects.
• Program machine telematics systems and develop data dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
• Perform functional testing on test benches and participate in product release gate reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Mathworks Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Simscape Electrical, and Co-simulation.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and error detection.
• Experience with linear control theory and basic PID with physics insight.
• Knowledge of sensor technologies and IoT devices.
• Hands-on experience with CAN, J1939, Ethernet, and other vehicle datalink communications.
• Ability to use Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for project management.
• Familiarity with software configuration management using ClearCase or Git.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
