Description

You will develop and verify the dynamic performance of mechatronic subsystems and products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods to test and verify subsystem and product dynamic performance, including mechanical parameters and signal quality.
• Qualify high-level control scripts in Python on custom mechatronics devices.
• Verify device-under-test wired and wireless data stream quality, focusing on noise and dropout rates.
• Program and qualify custom test methods using collaborative multi-axis robots.
• Specify requirements for custom and off-the-shelf mechatronic and robotic test devices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mechatronics system engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience programming collaborative multi-axis robots, specifically UR, Fanuc, or ABB.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams including EE, ME, FW/SW, and Systems Engineers.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with CAD for designing, procuring, and assembling end effectors, fixtures, and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with engineering verification concepts and measurement devices.
• Knowledge of motion system component selection, including motors and sensors.
• Experience with statistical analysis and designed experiments.
