Description

Lead hardware design and manufacturing efforts for systems, fixtures, and prototypes to support product development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and manufacturing of hardware systems, fixtures, and prototypes.
• Develop technical specifications and project plans in collaboration with product designers and cross-functional teams.
• Execute detailed design work, including 3D modeling, drawing creation, and driving design reviews.
• Write technical reports and present findings during formal technical reviews.
• Balance responsibilities as both a team lead and an individual contributor.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in NX with advanced surfacing techniques.
• Expertise in manufacturing processes including injection molding, sheet metal stamping, forging, and die casting.
• Strong understanding of product life cycle management from early-stage development through production and launch.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, JMP, DFSS, and V-Models.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Proven experience in technical documentation and report generation.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field.
