Description

You will support the Medicaid Enterprise Systems through architecture reviews and report development for the Division of Systems Portfolio.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports, workflows, and data transformations while writing and executing unit test plans.
• Analyze and revise flow charts, process models, and technical specifications for as-is and to-be IT systems.
• Review business requirements with project managers and programmers to ensure design clarity.
• Troubleshoot end-user technical issues and support the release management process.
• Query data sources to validate project outputs and document data architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology supporting development platforms and technical architectures.
• 7 years of experience with public health information systems such as Medicaid or CHIP.
• 7 years of experience working with stakeholders and vendors through the full project life cycle.
• 4 years of experience using Oracle products including SQL Developer and SQL plus to query Vertica and Oracle databases.
• 4 years of experience with CMS standards and codes including EDI 837, EDI 834, ICD, and HIPAA.
• 4 years of experience performing architecture assurance and reviewing project impacts.
• 4 years of experience researching software/hardware products for enterprise roadmap development.
• 3 years of experience in a data warehouse environment processing billions of healthcare records.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
