You will provide subject matter expertise to assist executive staff with Medicaid policy implementation and cross-departmental communication.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of reference between the Division of Medical Programs, the Department of Innovation and Technology, and Medicaid Enterprise Vendors.
Attend project status meetings to report on functional workflow, business processes, and information flow.
Advise on process improvements and mentor staff in Claims Processing, Provider Management, and Member Management.
Participate in requirements analysis, quality assurance testing, and documenting state program vulnerabilities.
Communicate technical and business requirements through written, verbal, and pictorial formats including data flow diagrams.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Medicaid program administration, pharmacy, or health insurance systems.
Proven experience managing or leading multi-vendor projects or teams.
Experience working directly with senior management or key project stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to produce professional business documentation.
Knowledge of Medicaid policies, regulations, and state government functions.
Expertise in Claims Processing, Pharmacy Programs, Financial Management, or Managed Care.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent workplace experience.
