You will analyze and interpret complex medical records to ensure accurate billing for clinic services.

Responsibilities

• Assign and sequence billing codes in compliance with third-party payor requirements.
• Analyze complex records to identify specific clinic services for billing.
• Obtain clarification when encountering conflicting or non-specific documentation.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure coding accuracy.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of medical coding experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
• CPC or CCS-P certification.
• Bachelor’s degree, certification, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Effective communication skills for documentation clarification.
• Ability to maintain a safe, secure, and distraction-free remote work environment.
• Stable and excellent internet connectivity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with injection and infusion coding.
