Description

You will design and implement medical imaging workflows and clinical documentation within a Cerner Millennium environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements through clinical engagement with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and billing specialists.
• Analyze end-to-end clinical workflows to inform electronic ordering and medical imaging strategies.
• Lead design sessions, workflow reviews, and validations with clinical stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver radiology and medical imaging education based on specific clinical scenarios.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, surgical, and clinical informatics teams to coordinate enterprise-wide imaging strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics or medical imaging environments.
• Cerner Millennium experience, including enterprise-wide application design and gap analysis.
• Registered Nursing background.
• Experience with RadNet and CP OE orderables.
• Proficiency in clinical workflow design, including order sets, OEFs, and care mapping.
• Knowledge of inpatient acute and ambulatory/outpatient scheduling and registration workflows.
• Experience with DCW creation, testing, and clinical support.
• Proven skills in change management, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to lead clinical adoption of evidence-based documentation and clinical pathways.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project management and change control processes.
