Description

Lead the statewide implementation of the Medical Examiner Information System (MEIS) from planning through post-deployment support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Direct all project phases, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, deployment, and post-deployment activities.
• Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and third-party oversight to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Co-develop comprehensive training programs for end-users and oversee the implementation of a dedicated help desk support team.
• Create implementation plans covering change management, testing protocols, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to define workflows, testing plans, and system enhancement roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in project management, including planning, execution, and post-deployment support.
• 7+ years of experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
• 7+ years of experience in change management methodologies and training program development.
• 7+ years of experience leading large-scale system implementations, preferably in healthcare or the public sector.
• Proven experience with medical examiner case management systems or similar technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders and manage complex organizational requirements.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
