Description

You own system testing processes and automation for data center products.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute detailed system test plans to validate features.
• Execute large-scale customer deployment scenario tests.
• Automate workflow aspects, including test harnesses and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, test engineers, and product management.
• Analyze failures with development engineers and debug production issues with customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Testing experience in a Data Center product company.
• BE or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Test Automation experience in Python (preferred), Perl, C/C++, or Java.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, VPN, OSPF, and VXLAN.
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and tools like wireshark, tcpdump, git, ixia, or ostinato.
• Experience building and testing scalable networking solutions.
• Experience with distributed software systems.

Preferred Skills

• Prior system testing experience of large-scale deployments.
• Hands-on exposure to a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
