Description

You will design and develop core software infrastructure for Nutanix's distributed cluster, focusing on clean interfaces and APIs.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design software with clean interfaces and APIs for massively distributed infrastructure.
• Apply distributed design principles (CAP theorem, PACELC) within virtualized environments.
• Develop core software infrastructure using clean design patterns.
• Interact with cross-system software teams to articulate technical designs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Expertise in Python and Golang.
• Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux operating system internals.
• Experience designing core software infrastructure.
• Understanding of hypervisors including ESXi, KVM, and HyperV.
• Ability to design software with clean interfaces and APIs.
• Knowledge of distributed design principles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
