Description

You will focus on usability and debuggability aspects while advocating for customer use cases in software features under test and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional and integration test plans to validate software on Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (On-Prem and Cloud).
• Automate test workflows, including building test libraries and frameworks.
• Automate tools and utilities to enhance the efficiency of existing test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and program managers to plan and execute test activities across various software components.
• Analyze failures with developers to determine root causes and engage with support engineers to debug production issues.

Required Skills

• 10-13 years of software testing experience in a distributed systems company.
• BE or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in Software Development or Test Automation using Python.
• Strong working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, including Server Virtualization, Storage, and Networking.
• Hands-on experience with Containerization or Kubernetes platform.
• Experience with hypervisor virtualization such as vSphere, KVM, or OpenShift.
• Expertise in Linux debugging, Memory/CPU/storage resource scheduling and management for testing.
• Experience with testing REST APIs and UI automation using Selenium.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
