Description

You will own test automation and quality assurance for Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional and integration test plans to validate software features.
• Automate test workflows by building libraries and frameworks in Python.
• Build tools and utilities to improve the efficiency of existing test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers and program managers to plan and execute test activities.
• Analyze failures to determine root causes and debug production issues with support engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software testing experience in distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python for software development or test automation.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including server virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with containerization or Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with hypervisor virtualization such as vSphere, KVM, or OpenShift.
• Expertise in Linux debugging, memory/CPU/storage resource scheduling, and management.
• Experience testing REST APIs and UI automation using Selenium.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.

Preferred Skills

• BE or MS in Computer Science or related field.
