Description

You will design and develop firmware for high-speed memory interfaces and inter-chip I/O IPs, owning the full lifecycle from pre-silicon simulation to post-silicon lab bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for DDR PHY and DRAM training steps.
• Perform pre-silicon firmware coding and simulation against architectural and RTL models.
• Execute post-silicon lab bring-up and optimization of DDR initialization and run-time firmware.
• Develop DDR PHY firmware for ATE testing, IP characterization, and SoC power analysis.
• Enhance post-silicon DDR training to improve link reliability and frequency margins.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware engineering.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++.
• Extensive experience with post-silicon development on real hardware.
• Solid understanding of computer organization and architecture.
• Hands-on laboratory experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar equipment.
• Strong knowledge of synchronization techniques including handshakes and message passing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Verilog, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of SERDES, DDR, Memory Controller, or MAC design.
• Experience with hardware-level clocking, synchronization, or physical phenomena-oriented logic design.
