Description

You will provide MES support to manufacturing operations on the shop floor.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage MES projects from requirement discussion and documentation through implementation, testing, and support.
• Monitor and troubleshoot MES systems, including configuration of printers, scanners, PBL controllers, carts, and part labels.
• Perform database troubleshooting, monitoring, and ad-hoc report creation.
• Troubleshoot integrated systems including JIS sequence systems, Paintshop systems, SAP, AIB, and HMI.
• Train new MES shift engineers and assist with technical troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting barcode scanners.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage MES device configurations and tracking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for inter-departmental coordination.
• Ability to determine when to escalate technical issues to the next level.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP and HMI integration.
