Description

You will manage and support MES implementations and GE Proficy suites within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement MES solutions into plant environments to support Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory initiatives.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues and troubleshoot control automation systems.
• Own assigned tasks from requirement gathering to completion within established timelines.
• Review technical work performed by junior team members and provide guidance.
• Demonstrate technical solutions to clients based on specific manufacturing requirements.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience in MES environments.
• 6+ years of experience with GE Proficy, Plants App, Historian, Kepware, IGS, and OPC servers.
• Strong SQL Server skills for database management.
• Deep understanding of OEE, Genealogy, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
• Experience with VM networks and control system automation.
• Ability to monitor various tools and apply analytical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C, and Visual Studio for data-driven web desktop applications.
• Broad knowledge of other MES platforms.
