Description

You will own the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for shopfloor operations.

Responsibilities

• Define MES solutioning strategies, including machine configuration, shopfloor asset management, and in-process parameter handling.
• Architect and manage MES integrations with SAP for part masters, engineering change notes, and inventory data.
• Ensure seamless integration with inventory management systems and oversee material flows from suppliers to warehouse to point-of-consumption.
• Design real-time IoT data handling architectures, including middleware selection and high-level system design.
• Implement analytics, reporting, quality checklist handling, and warranty feedback mechanisms within the MES.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in MES project management and solutioning.
• Deep understanding of MES integrations with SAP and inventory systems.
• Proficiency in Big Data technologies and tools.
• Knowledge of UI and analytics tools for reporting requirements.
• Understanding of shopfloor metrics including MTR, OEE, and traceability.
• Experience with IoT middleware and real-time data processing architectures.
• Familiarity with AI applications in shopfloor, such as predictive quality.
• Knowledge of material flow types including DOL, NDOL, Kitting, and 2Bin.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with quality checklist and warranty feedback handling in MES.
• Understanding of process flows from ordering to planning to shopfloor scheduling.
