Description

Develop and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications for shop floor communication and integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build MES applications using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Integrate Siemens Opcenter Execution or similar MES solutions with manufacturing equipment.
• Implement messaging technologies like MSMQ, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ for reliable shop floor data flow.
• Ensure data consistency and optimize application scalability and performance.
• Test, debug, and manage software releases using Git or TFS.

Required Skills

• 5–7+ years of software development experience with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems: MSMQ, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful services and APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server).
• Familiarity with source code management tools (Git, TFS).
• Understanding of SDLC principles and software development best practices.
• Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing IT environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing in Camstar.
• Familiarity with TDD and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
