Description

Design, develop, and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications for shop floor operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MES applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and Web APIs.
• Integrate Siemens Opcenter Execution with manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Gather requirements from manufacturing customers and provide technical guidance.
• Implement messaging technologies like MSMQ or ActiveMQ for shop floor communication.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance in 24/7 environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of developer experience using .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution (Designer and Portal) in live manufacturing environments.
• Practical experience with messaging technologies such as MSMQ, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with relational databases including Oracle or SQL Server.
• Experience building RESTful services and APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Git, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of SDLC best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience supporting IT systems in 24/7 manufacturing environments.
