Description

Design, develop, and support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications using .NET and C#.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and enhance Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions to meet manufacturing needs.
• Build integrations between MES, enterprise systems, and shop floor equipment.
• Implement messaging technologies (MSMQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ) for reliable system communication.
• Troubleshoot production issues and validate application performance and stability.
• Contribute to technical estimates, documentation, and on-call support rotations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years developing software with .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and modern integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL Server or Oracle).
• Proficiency with source control (Git) and development tools (Azure DevOps/TFS).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in 24/7 manufacturing or industrial environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and TDD.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team environment.
