Description

You will provide infrastructure support for global messaging products and enable application teams to use them effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage production Kafka on Kubernetes and MQ plants.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and serve as an escalation point for Level 2 teams.
• Execute infrastructure changes and manage incident, problem, and change processes.
• Build automation to reduce TOIL and develop self-service tools for application users and L1/L2 staff.
• Collaborate with external vendors on product issues and roadmap items.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with IBM MQ 9.x and MQ plants.
• Proficiency with Confluent Kafka.
• Experience managing Kafka on Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree.
