Description
You will own the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of MES and SCADA systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You act as the primary specialist for process setup, system integration, and new product introduction support.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain MES/SCADA systems on plant floors, executing configuration changes and deployments.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues, meet deadlines, and execute training plans for new processes.
- Coordinate technical discussions with vendors, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and manage project timelines.
- Validate system data using SQL Server queries and prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Track and report MES budgets, capital expenses, and project status to management during periodic reviews.
Required Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on MES and SCADA systems.
- Deep expertise in process design, system integration, and manufacturing execution systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL Server, and engineering software (e.g., Minitab, MATLAB).
- Experience with ERP systems, simulation software, and managing project budgets/resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong ability to lead engineering teams, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing work environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in Automotive or Truck manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects and leading new process setups in high-volume environments.
