Description

Lead metrology programming and automated inspection standards in precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain CMM, blue light, and cobot inspection programs.
• Establish standards for part set-up, fixturing, and measuring techniques.
• Troubleshoot automated metrology equipment and provide technical training.
• Execute statistically based sampling plans for validations and process improvements.
• Support FAA inspections, ISO audits, and customer surveillance reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in precision manufacturing and inspection.
• Proficiency with Zeiss Calypso and GOM ATOS.
• Experience with United Robotics Cobots using Polyscope and URScript.
• Programming capability in Python.
• Extensive knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Knowledge of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA).
• Experience with Control of Nonconforming Product processes (NCMR, MRB review).
• Ability to use standard inspection tools (calipers, height gages, optical comparators).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting FAA or ISO certification audits.
• Background in automated metrology integration.
