Description

You will lead the development and maintenance of automated inspection systems for precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, execute, and maintain CMM, Blue Light, Cobot, and other automated metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and operators to establish standards for part set-up, fixturing, and measuring techniques.
• Troubleshoot automated metrology machine issues and provide technical training to staff.
• Execute statistically based sampling plans for inspections, validations, and process improvements.
• Support FAA inspections, ISO certification audits, and customer surveillance audits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in precision manufacturing and inspection.
• Extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with Calypso and Python.
• Experience with CMM, United Robotics Cobot (Polyscope/URScript), and GOM ATOS Zeiss.
• Knowledge of CAPA and Control of Nonconforming Product processes (NCMR, MRB review, quarantine).
• Ability to use standard inspection tools including calipers, height gages, and optical comparators.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
