Description

You will manage and support CICS environments within a mainframe infrastructure, handling upgrades, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain CICS regions and perform upgrades.
• Execute problem determination and performance tuning for CICS workloads.
• Manage IBM Program Product installations using SMP/e.
• Coordinate with IBM problem support groups to resolve technical issues.
• Execute and test Disaster Recovery procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in mainframe administration.
• Proficiency with CICS problem determination and tuning.
• Hands-on experience with IBM SMP/e.
• Deep understanding of z/OS functions including APF, LINKLIST, LPA, and VSAM.
• Experience using Sysview for CICS and CA DADSplus.
• Familiarity with ACF2 Security.
• Technical knowledge of CA, IBM, Mackinney, and Macro4 products.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM mainframe infrastructure.
