Description

You will manage Micro Focus Enterprise Server environments and lead mainframe-to-cloud migration efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute Enterprise Server implementations for cloud migration from mainframe environments.
• Configure Micro Focus COBOL environments, including ESCWA, JES Initiators, and MPRs.
• Implement batch job interfaces within Control-M or Redwood schedulers.
• Manage SSL server/URL certificate implementation and PU updates.
• Fine-tune server performance, sizing, and environment setup for developers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT application modernization experience in Mainframes.
• 5+ years of experience with Micro Focus Enterprise Server for COBOL/Mainframe.
• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and flatfiles.
• Proficiency in Batch Scripting and CICS.
• Experience with IMS environment setup and XA resources.
• Ability to troubleshoot environmental issues and manage file systems.
• Bachelor's degree.
