Description

Lead the architectural design and implementation of a loyalty platform integrated with existing messaging systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable Java microservices for loyalty logic including points, tiers, rewards, and redemption.
• Develop robust APIs and implement event-driven architecture for near real-time processing.
• Evaluate new loyalty systems and design integrations between the existing engine and vendor platforms.
• Lead technical design, maintenance, and documentation of loyalty platform components.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in loyalty program implementation and subject matter expertise.
• Expertise in Java and microservices architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex API integrations.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting microservices.
• Ability to work within event-driven architectural frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Previous experience working with leading loyalty vendors.
