Description

You will design and implement complex microservices architectures using event-driven patterns and distributed application runtimes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design microservices using event-driven architecture (EDA) and integration patterns.
• Craft API standards for design and build phases across the API lifecycle.
• Implement API deployment strategies on Kubernetes for global scalability.
• Develop test strategies including pipeline, contract, and integration testing for APIs.
• Manage application security and performance improvement strategies for APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in microservices design and implementation.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture (EDA) and microservices integration.
• Experience with API Management tools such as Kong or Azure APIM.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-based API deployment.
• Proficiency with Function as a Service (FaaS) frameworks like Azure Functions, OpenFaaS, or OpenWhisk.
• Experience with CI/CD frameworks specifically for API build and deployment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure PaaS offerings and .NET.
• Schema design expertise for analytical and transactional databases using SQL, CosmosDB, or MongoDB.
