Description

Lead the architectural roadmap and implementation of Java-based microservices on Azure cloud, driving end-to-end digital transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Migrate monolithic legacy applications to cloud-native microservices architectures.
• Design and integrate Azure services including API Management, AKS, Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions.
• Implement service mesh architecture using sidecar proxies to ensure scalability and performance.
• Own security and encryption implementations within highly regulated environments.
• Manage data management, security, analysis, and analytics aspects of the solution architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing Java microservices solutions on Azure cloud.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proven track record of migrating applications to Azure and modernizing legacy code.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying applications in containerized production environments.
• Deep knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure cloud components.
• Experience with service mesh architecture and sidecar proxies.
• Expertise in microservices design patterns and architectural roadmapping.
• Mandatory experience in the healthcare or medical device domain.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science.
